We Handle the Band, the Permits, and the Police- So You Can Just Show Up & Strut!
Planning a second line can sound a little intimidating—but that’s where we come in. Big Fun Entertainment makes it easy. We don’t just book your brass band—we build it from the ground up, handpicking each musician to bring the perfect vibe for your parade.
And it’s not just the music—we take care of the city permits, submit your second line application, and coordinate with the New Orleans Police Department to make sure your escort is locked in and ready to roll. From the first trumpet blast to the final police siren, we’ve got you covered.

Pick Your Parade Package
We offer three second line options to match your style, budget, and just how big you want to go:
Standard Second Line Package – A 6-piece brass band (our smallest option that's still big enough to parade through the streets)
Signature Second Line Package – An 8-piece brass band plus a grand marshal to lead the way
Platinum Second Line Package – A 9-piece brass band, grand marshal, two stilt walkers, two revelers, and an on-site coordinator to bring the spectacle and keep everything running smoothly

Standard 2ndline Package
This is the smallest package we offer to parade through the streets—a 6-piece brass band full of heart and sound! Whether it’s just the two of you (yes, we’ve done that!) or up to 100 guests, this is where the party begins.
Signature 2ndline Package
Our most popular package! This 8-piece brass band brings big sound and high energy, led by a classic New Orleans grand marshal. Perfect for groups of 100 or more guests—or anyone who wants that full second line experience with a little extra flair.
Platinum 2ndline Package
Go big or go Bourbon Street! This over-the-top package features a 9-piece brass band, a grand marshal, two stilt walkers, two revelers, and an on-site coordinator to keep the magic flowing and the crowd moving. It’s a full-on spectacle perfect for large events, high-energy parties, and anyone who wants their second line to feel like Mardi Gras just showed up.

Planning Something Indoors?
Not every second line has to hit the streets! If you're hosting an indoor celebration or want that classic brass band sound inside your venue, we’ve got you covered.
We typically recommend a 6-piece brass band for large indoor events to keep the energy full and festive. But if your event is more intimate—or your budget’s a little tighter—we also offer 4-piece and 5-piece options that can still get the job done beautifully.
