NOMADS
NOMADS is a group of working New Orleans Brass Band musicians with a minimum of 10 years in the game each, covering thousands of performances. Collectively they’ve played together in many many configurations spread across at least 20 different projects that have come, gone, and still remain. Playing shows with some of the most revered musicians New Orleans has to offer. The musicians of NOMAD have performed in the majority of the United states and Europe. The musicians have all had extensive touring experience. Most importantly, it’s a group of men who have spent enough time playing and hanging together that it’s more of a family affair than a band and that shows in their live performances.
With the Brass Band setup the group can be 100% mobile and perform without any kind of amplified sound assistance when called for. Boats, Rooftops, hiking trails, abandoned warehouses.
NOMADS’ primary directives are to bring the sounds of New Orleans to the masses, to give the music the love it deserves, to remain a close group of friends, and to bring the party wherever they go next.
